The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah has an impressive archaeological heritage and a very rich history.. Location: Ras Al Khaimah, located at the north end of the coast of the Arabian Gulf, is one of the seven Emirates that form the United Arab Emirates.

Geography: The mountains have enabled the set up of stone quarries and a cement factory. Also the oilfield of Saleh, has boosted up the revenues of the emirate. There are no rivers or lakes

Religions: Muslim 96% (Shi'a 16%). The constitution guarantees religious freedom and other religions are represented, including Hinduism and Christianity.
