The Emirate of Ajman is situated on the coast of the Arabian Gulf, extending over a distance of 16 km, between the emirates of Umm Al-Quwain and Sharjah.. Ajman, or Ujman is the smallest member state of the United Arab Emirates. One of the poorer emirates, Ajman is mostly known for its cheap rents compared to Dubai and Sharjah. Otherwise it's one of the least attractive places to visit in the U.A.E. The town of Ajman, the capital of the emirate, lies on the coast of the Arabian Gulf.
